Successfull Summer
The gingerbread are on the shelves, first Christmas tree balls decorated with local shops and waiting for fans of early Christmas – and the whole beginning of November. But just under 20 degrees outside temperature is remembered still like the swimwear and bikini time.
At the latest when visiting the local supermarkets notes that, yes, summer is over. Inflatable swim rings and Badeschlapfn were displaced by singing and swinging Weihnachstmännern or Christmas decorations of any kind. But what made the summer 2010 so special?
Hot in the City:
According to the predictions of the 100-year calendar of the summer in 2010 are very mixed. And because he was also steadfast. The image of summer 2010 coined especially the mix of extreme heat waves and heavy storms and rains. But a nice volcano with the unpronounceable name Eyjafallajökull darkened the sky and gave many a traveler undesired long stay at the resort.
Splish Splash:
bruzeln can let yourself in the sun and then make a trip into the cool water, which can each summer. But a new sport in America was now the “jump” to Austria. Blobber called the other way to go gracefully into the water. So you will be thrown by two colleagues who jump from one platform to a giant inflated mattress several meters. Who was not one for water and bruises, was looking for two trees, stretched between a belt and went a lap slacklining.
Music is the key:
Ofcourse I did not miss the festival in 2010 in Austria. So could Frequency, Nova Rock and Co. also pleased this summer to record numbers of visitors. A special highlight of this year’s summer music was definitely the concert of AC / DC at the airport in Wels. After much back and forth whether the concert may take place at all (there were bombs on the premises and suspected animal rights activists were worried about a bird that nested there) the site of fans stormed formally. 95 000 weatherproof Hardcore fans enjoyed the unique event in Wels.
That’s the way, aha aha i like it:
Another mega-event in Austria in 2010 could not, of course missing, the A1 Beach Volleyball Grand Slam in Klagenfurt. This year the organizers managed Hannes Jagerhofer back hundreds of thousands of beach volleyball and beach party interested in the lure of Klagenfurt. Not only exciting games but also brilliant steeled body, a mega brilliant atmosphere and side events were offered. A MUST for all the little left over for sports and celebration has.
Rumble in the Jungle:
The fashion trend of summer this year can be described with one word: Animal Print. No matter whether tiger, snake and zebra on the whole, fluid, lightweight fabrics for dresses, skirts or blouses promised an animal summer. But on the bikinis were the Safari pattern is not indispensable, and woke in many male creatures animalistic traits. But even gaudy bright colors were like red, yellow, blue and green part of every wardrobe.
All in all we can say that it is a very successful summer has been great events with lots of action and a touch Jungel feeling. One can only hope that the weather in the summer of 2011 a little better, but now we are happy times for winter 2010!
